Did you know …
That all of the Indiana Regional Team members are volunteers?
Yes, Angie, Diane and Teresa are volunteers.
All of the IN SCBWI membership dues go to support the national organization.
The money we raise through hosting events is ALL we have to offer programming, reserve venues, pay for conference food, linens, set-up, clean-up and other services, pay for faculty honorariums, flights, all meals, lodging and any extras for each event, cover the cost of socials, luncheons and fund scholarships, among many other things.
Indiana Volunteers who help with an event are invited to attend a free, private faculty meal during at the event, get to register early. (doesn’t apply to Autumn Frost Retreat as registration is already open) and will be recognized at our annual member luncheon for their time and dedication to IN SCBWI.
Indiana Coordinators will receive all of the above, PLUS a 50% discount on membership dues after their first year of service, a 75% discount on membership dues after their 2nd year of service and a FREE Membership after their 3rd and following years of service. After 3 years, they will also receive a scholarship for a partial discount on registration for a national SCBWI event, (Los Angeles in Summer or New York in Winter) assuming that we are in good financial standing. There will be other perks added as we raise our funds.
